The exhibition Colita. Antifémina revives and highlights the project by photographer Colita and writer Maria Aurèlia Capmany, who in 1977 created Antifémina, considered the first openly feminist photo book of Spain’s Transition period. Although it was withdrawn shortly after its publication, the work became a cult book and was reissued in 2021. The exhibition reaffirms the relevance of their critiques and reflections, as well as the courage of these two intellectual and committed women.
